Mega Millions is played in 44 United States lotteries and the US Virgin Islands Lottery. The jackpot starts at $12 Million and then grows until won.

Drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:00 pm Mountain Time. Tickets can be purchased until 8:45 pm (MT) for that night's drawing. Following the drawing, winning numbers are available here at nmlottery.com, at all Lottery retailers and on our player hotline at (505) 342‑PLAY (7529).

Play Up to 10 Drawings with Multi-Draw

Whether you play your favorite numbers or choose Quick Picks, you can play up to ten drawings in a row. Simply mark the appropriate box next to MULTI DRAW on your play slip or ask the clerk for a Multi-Draw ticket ($1 per play per drawing).

Cash vs. Annuity

The advertised jackpot is an estimated amount which is paid as an annuity of 26 payments over 25 years or, at the election of the winner, in a single lump sum payment of the cash value of the annuity prize (subject to State and Federal taxes). Annuity payments are guaranteed upon death to a designated beneficiary or trust.
