CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
The New Mexico Lottery Authority is seeking applications for its vacant Chief Executive Officer position. The CEO provides leadership for all aspects of the Lottery and is expected to carry out its objectives and overall statutory mission with a view toward maximizing net revenues for its beneficiaries. The CEO establishes and directs the organization’s day-to-day operating strategy and plan. While this individual serves at the pleasure of the Board, it also acts as a liaison to the Governor, Legislature, other governmental entities, external providers of goods and services, retailers, the public, as well as the employees. Executive experience is required as a manager or leader of another lottery or in an environment similar or equal to the Lottery as an organization. Previous lottery experience is preferred, but not required. A Master’s degree in business administration or public administration or its equivalent in a related field is desirable, but not essential. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education. Must be able to pass an extensive background check and able to work in a high security environment. SOFTWARE ENGINEER (AS 400)
The New Mexico Lottery Authority (NMLA) has a full-time position available in our dynamic Management Information Systems Division developing and supporting iSeries (AS400) applications. Working knowledge of AS400 development and administration, RPG, ILE, SQL is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Computer Systems is preferred, however, a combination of education and past relevant work experience wherein the skills and abilities to perform the position’s duties and accountabilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Resumes are being accepted for full-time Customer Service Representative position with the New Mexico Lottery Authority (NMLA). Duties include, but are not limited to, handling incoming and outgoing telephone sales communications to retailers, players, lottery staff and the general public. Minimal travel within the state of New Mexico may be required. Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office 2010, with emphasis in Word and Excel. Two years experience in a proactive customer service/telemarketing environment is preferred. Starting hourly rate is $11.16.
