Santa Fe Woman Wins $25,000 Scratcher Prize AGAIN
ALBUQUERQUE – Juanita Gillespie of Santa Fe entered the elite status of two-time lottery winner by winning two $25,000 top prizes playing her favorite New Mexico Lottery Scratcher game. For good reason, the “Loteria” Scratcher is Gillespie’s favorite game.

On Monday, Gillespie arrived with a big smile at Lottery headquarters in Albuquerque to redeem her second $25,000 “Loteria” Scratcher prize. Gillespie claimed her first $25,000 prize in May, just nine days after the game’s statewide introduction. Three more $25,000 Loteria top prizes are yet to be redeemed in the “Loteria” game.
“My friends told me I was crazy to keep playing the same game,” laughed Gillespie. “I proved them wrong by winning again.”
Gillespie said that she plans to have a little more fun with this prize. It’s earmarked for a family vacation, destination still to be determined. Gillespie purchased her recent $25,000 winning ticket at Giant Station No. 6861 located at 5741 Airport Road in Santa Fe. Her previous winning ticket was purchased at Albertsons No. 986 located at 3542 Zafarano Drive in Santa Fe. The two-time winner’s first prize was spent paying bills and hosting a high school graduation party for her son.
