ALBUQUERQUE – Approximately $1.19 million in prize-winning tickets were sold by the New Mexico Lottery for last night’s Powerball ® drawing, including one ticket for $1 million, one ticket for $40,000 and three tickets for $10,000 each.
- Last night’s drawing numbers are 6, 27, 46, 51 and 56 and a red Powerball of 21.
- The lottery recommends that all players sign their tickets immediately. The $1 million prize must be claimed in person at lottery headquarters in Albuquerque.
- The evening’s $337 million jackpot was landed by a ticket sold in Michigan.
New Mexico’s Sixth Millionaire of 2012
This is the sixth New Mexico Lottery ticket to win a prize of $1 million or more in 2012.
Larry and Cynthia Martinez of Blanco won a $1 million Powerball prize in January.
Patrick and Sharon Yazzie of Chinle, Ariz. won a $1 million Powerball prize in March.
Robert Platt of Albuquerque won a $1.54 million Hot Lotto® jackpot while James Larson, also of Albuquerque, won a $1 million Powerball prize in April.
Danny Garcia of Veguita won a $1 million Mega Millions® prize in June.
