Prizes Feature Tailgate Party
ALBUQUERQUE – The New Mexico Lottery kicks off a promotion today that will give Powerball players a chance to attend a VIP tailgate party with more than 100 athletes from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, including Terry Bradshaw, Joe Namath and Jerry Rice.
The exclusive tailgate party on May 2, 2014 launches the hall of fame’s fan festival May 3-4, 2014 in Cleveland, Ohio.
“Powerball players are also football fans and tailgating with their sports heroes is something very few fans will ever get the chance to do,” said Tom Romero, New Mexico Lottery CEO. “It’s the ultimate fan experience that will bring Powerball fans to their feet cheering.”
For a chance to win, players must purchase a minimum $10 ticket for a Powerball drawing between now and Feb. 8, 2014. The purchase of $10 or more can include any combination of plays such as multiple wagers for the same drawing, wagers for future drawings, or the Power Play feature to multiply non-jackpot prizes as long as everything is printed on the same ticket.
When the eligible ticket prints in the store, a coupon with an eight-digit serial number will print as well. Players enter their coupons’ serial numbers at www.nmlottery.com. Players can enter multiple times with coupons from different eligible ticket purchases. The deadline to enter is Feb. 10, 2014 at 9:59 p.m. MT. Players must sign and keep their coupons and present them to the New Mexico Lottery if they are drawn as winners.
Three winners will be drawn on Feb. 12, 2014. Each winner will receive a tailgate party prize valued at approximately $15,000. Each prize includes airfare to Cleveland and hotel accommodations for four people, ground transportation and $500 in spending money. At the tailgate party, each of the three winners will have an opportunity to win cash prizes ranging between $1,000 and $1.025 million.
The New Mexico Lottery is one of 18 Powerball lotteries participating in the Pro Football Hall of Fame promotion. Complete promotion rules are available at www.nmlottery.com.
