ALBUQUERQUE – New Mexico has a new millionaire! A lucky New Mexico Lottery player has won $1 million playing Powerball® from the August 28, 2021 drawing.
Check your Powerball tickets. The winning numbers for the August 28, 2021 draw were 12, 22, 26, 46, 59 and Powerball number 26. The $1 million winning ticket matched all five White Ball numbers but missed the Powerball number.
All drawing game prizes must be claimed within 90 days from the date of the drawing or the first business day after the 90th day if the Lottery is not open for business.
No one won the August 28, 2021 Powerball jackpot. Powerball now has three draws each week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The estimated Powerball jackpot for Monday, August 30, 2021 is now $332 Million. The Mega Millions estimated jackpot for Tuesday, August 31, 2021 is $306 million.
