ALBUQUERQUE – A near-record Roadrunner Cash jackpot of $705,000 has been claimed. Erin and Shantill McKenna of Albuquerque claimed their prize Thursday at New Mexico Lottery headquarters.
Monday’s jackpot was the second-highest Roadrunner Cash jackpot to date. The game’s record prize of $890,000 was won in October 2013 by Carlos Solis of Albuquerque and Mary Virgili of Ohkay Owingeh.
The winning numbers were 3, 9, 23, 27 and 33. The McKennas selected their own numbers to play. The ticket was purchased at Circle K #8935 at 5311 Quail NW in Albuquerque.
Roadrunner Cash is played only in New Mexico. Jackpots begin at $25,000 and grow until won. Drawings are held Monday thru Saturday.
